The ring settles into a standing pattern and then carries the time in UTC, hour, minute and second, as binary. Holding the pointer on it also spells the time out in the middle.

My name is Philipp Kuhlemann, and this is my personal project page. I like building instruments that run in a browser and compute what they show: near-Earth space weather from live NOAA feeds, proton-proton collisions from CERN open data, pattern formation in visual cortex from the field equations themselves. Nothing in them is pre-baked. I have a ten-year background in clinical emergency and intensive care, and I now work as a systems engineer.
